How much should a 16-month old eat? My husband wants to give her only breakfast, lunch, and dinner, nothing in-between. Is it okay to do this?

Thanks for your question

It certainly is okay for you to feed a 16-month old three meals per day. This feeding schedule will certainly supply the necessary calories for a toddler, especially since this is the age when the caloric requirement goes down and therefore the appetitie will also diminish.

It is hard to tell if this routine will be okay for your child. One thing we are certain - your daughter will let you know if it is not enough!
