Thanks for your question because it is an important topic. We do not feel
you will do yourself any good by sniffing anything, including nail polish.
In fact, the fumes from nail polish and other commonly used products can
change your brain chemistry and permanently damage your brain and nervous
system. Sniffing also destroys other important parts of your body - like
your lungs, kidneys, liver, blood, and bones. Once damaged, these parts can
not readily repair themselves. That’s how sniffing can destroy you.
Sniffing is also habit forming. One day, just for fun, you sniff some nail
polish or another substance just to try it. A “friend said it will make
you “high.” Unfortunately, the next day you are hooked. Or worse
- dead from suffocation when the inhaled fumes take the place of oxygen in
your blood.
Sniffing will take away everything that makes your life interesting. Instead
of riding your bike, competing in sports or dancing at parties, you will
wear diapers, lose your teeth, and eat mushy food someone else feeds you.
You’ll need a wheelchair to get around. And all that from simply sniffing
nail polish? Is it worth the risk? We don’t think so!
