Recently the Academy of Pediatrics recommended that the parents use "methods other than spanking for managing undesirable behaviors". In a recent survey of pediatricians, it was surprising to discover that one third of the pediatricians felt there should be no spanking, half felt that an occasional spanking was okay and a small percentage approved limited spanking.
